About the Program: Marilyn's talk is entitled Operational
Improvement in the OR Utilization Lean Six Sigma Tools. About our Speaker: Marilyn has 27 years of experience in the health care industry. She has worked in all aspects of perioperative nursing during the first 20 years of her career. Following this period, she spent five years in the field of quality and safety. The last 2 ½ years she has been working for a 2400 member group purchasing organization as a consultant. She is responsible for providing direction and support for physician preference management consulting services. She is responsible for conducting assessments, developing strategic plans, designing and implementing solutions to assist implementation of member’s physician preference management opportunities. She has in-depth training in team facilitation and project management. Marilyn’s areas of expertise and professional skills include:

Marilyn received her degree in nursing from Indiana University. She holds her nursing license in the state of Indiana. She is also a member of AORN, NAHQ, InAHQ.
