Steve Harmeyer
GM, Marion, IN

About the Program:  
Steve Harmeyer will speak on how to communicate business targets throughout the organization to engage the workforce at all levels into the continuous improvement process

About our Speaker:
Mr. Harmeyer has a B.S. in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and a B.S. Engineering/ Quality at Kennedy Western University.  He currently works at the GM Headquarters in Marion, IN as Senior Quality Manager (Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt).  He has four years experience working with Six Sigma. and has won several awards including the Indiana Business Quality and GM Chairmans Honors awards.

Pre-Clinic:
Rhonda Goss will be our pre-clinic speaker discussing different techniques to improve the quality of brainstorming output.  Rhonda is currently a Quality Coordinator at Maxon Corp.  She is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and Auditor with over 15 years as a quality professional.

Post-Meeting Follow-up:
25 Quality Professionals attend the October 2008 Meeting.  Jim Cree won the door prize, a copy of the book "De-mystifying Six-Sigma" donated by Quality America.com
