Josh is the son of Michelle and Kendal Tarr.  A student at Blackford High School, Josh plans to attend Ball State to study Mechanical Engineering Technology.

About our Speaker: 
Bryan J. Douglass

Bryan holds an associates, bachelors and masters degrees in Business Administration. His specialties are marketing, management, sales, and promotions.

He has completed two sessions of the University Oklahoma’s and the International Economic Development Council’s Economic Development Institute and will complete the third session and sit for the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) Examination in 2010. Bryan is a graduate of LERN’s Contract Training Institute, a Certified Program Planner (CPP), an ACT authorized WorkKeys Job Profiler, and is working to complete the Extended DISC Facilitator Certification. He has also completed Ball State University’s Certified Consultant and Leadership Academy Programs.

Bryan is currently the Corporate Engagement Manager at the Department of Workforce & Economic Development at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana. This assignment at Ivy Tech has given Bryan an opportunity to use his interest in skills assessment and benchmarking to become an ACT WorkKeys Job Profiler. In this capacity, Bryan studies jobs, the duties, tasks, skills, and skill levels required for success in jobs.

Bryan’s background includes sales and marketing work with Chiquita Brands International, the Borden Corporation, Dinner Bell Foods and sales and marketing administration work at Vincennes University and education administration, sales, marketing, and economic development at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana.

In the Community, Bryan serves on the Daleville Junior Baseball & Softball Association Board of Directors and volunteers with his son’s Boy Scouts of America-WEEBLOS Pack.

Bryan, his wife Tammy, children Cody and Audrey, and his Australian Shepherds, Sam and Princess, reside in Daleville, Indiana
