Introduction of Speaker

Speaker

7:30 PM

John R. Meier, CQE
"QOS: Quality Operating Systems "

About the Program:

Continuous Improvement Utilizing a Quality Operating Systems Approach; an Introduction and Overview.

QOS is a disciplined system used to promote and manage continuous improvement. Its focus is on the assembly and analysis of data for Key measurables that can be quickly reviewed and acted upon.

QOS is like the instrument panel on your car. As we travel the highway what would happen if we:
Couldn’t see the information that is displayed?
Could see the information displayed but choose to disregard it?

The key purpose of QOS is to provide a balanced performance review so that continuous improvement initiatives can be managed.

About the Speaker:

A recent Chairman of section 0905, Meier was the recipient of the Forest Guimont award this past year. He has held progressively responsible quality management positions for companies such as Dana and Tenneco Automotive. He recently developed and implemented a strategically focused supplier development program for Tenneco’s North American Operations. The State of Indiana currently employs Meier as a Regional Director of Quality Services for its Business Modernization and Development Corp. He holds both BS and MS degrees, and is listed in Who’s Who in American Business. He is also a charter member in the International Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Tau.
