Quality Manager, BorgWarner

About the Program:  Mike was Quality Manager at the Muncie BorgWarner Plant.  When the Muncie Plant closed, he became Quality Manager at the Water Valley, MS Plant.  Mike will discuss his successful efforts to re-invigorate the Quality Department.

Mike previously spoke to our ASQ Section in January 2008 on "Layered Audits".

About our Speaker: Michael R. Oxley is a quality manager at BorgWarner in Water Valley, MS.  He earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.  He is a member of ASQ and a Certified Quality Systems Auditor.  Mike is co-author of an article entitled Turbocharging Your Preventative Action System that appears in the November 2007 issue of Quality Progress magazine.
