History of Nondestructive Testing and Worldwide Approved USAC Inspection Stations for the Motorsports Industry
   
This presentation will cover the various nondestructive and metallurgical testing used to inspect racecar components parts since 1936.
Nondestructive testing embraces the following technologies:

Metallurgical testing embraces the following:
        Hardness Testing

Motorsports Accident Investigation and Failure Analysis
   
This presentation will cover the how, what, & why of motorsports accident investigations and several case studies of failure analysis.

About the Speaker:

Dennis G. Hunley first became involved in hardness testing while working for Wilson Instrument Company where he advanced to the position of District Manager - Midwest.  In 1976, after 10 years with Wilson, Mr. Hunley left to start his own company; Quality Assurance Corporation.  QAC is a manufacturer's representative of nondestructive testing equipment, hardness testing equipment, gauging systems, and provides training and consultating in these fields.  Quality Assurance Corporation is an authorized Magnaflux distributor and offers Level I,II,III certification in ET, MT, PT, RT, and UT. The company also offers continuous quality improvement materials, seminars, and consulting.  Celebrating 25 years in business, Quality Assurance Corporation has grown, providing services to nearly 400 active sales accounts in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.
    With over 33 years of experience, Mr. Hunley is a contributor to the field of materials testing and the performance racing industry.  His credits include contributions to the development of Newage Industry's production microhardness tester and development of a Calibration Service Program.  He was awarded the Chief Steward's Safety Award, the Continental Casualty Company Jack O'Neal Safety Award for his contribution to safety through his testing services and NDT expertise.  He was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation buy the United States Auto Club for dedicated service to the club by helping maintain the integrity of the organization while administering the duties as a USAC official since 1967.
    Adding to Mr. Hunley's credentials is participation in many professional societies:
