About our Speaker:
Joe Adams is a Process Excellence Architect
for his consulting firm of Strategic Quality. He has specialized in Business
Planning and Quality Systems (Lean, QFD, FMEAs, APQP/NPI) for the last 10
years. Prior to founding Strategic Quality Joe had 25 years of experience with
General Motors and was President / CEO of a consumer product / automotive
plastics company. He has a BSME & MSME from Rose-Hulman, is an ASQ
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, holds 3 patents, and is a MS Excel &
Office Automation developer.
Teams that Joe has led have won A. T. Kearney Consultants’ kaizen benchmark award and, additionally, their plants have won Shingo Awards, are being studied by a Japanese Tier 1 for their “Plant of the Future”, and been noted by TPS Guru, James Womak, as having “The best production system I have seen in the world.” About the Program: This presentation was originally created to begin to show Black Belt and
Master Balck Belt candidates how requirements and risk management data /
information flows through a project's complete system documentation. Pre-Clinic: Jim Miller will give a pre-clinic on Sampling. Post Meeting Follow-up: Twenty-two attended our February 2010 meeting.
